  • What is the Presidio Hotel?

The Presidio Hotel is an intimate, 14-room boutique property located at the Republic Wine Castle. Our accommodations combine the privacy and convenience of a vacation rental with the character and atmosphere of a wine-country getaway.

  • How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made through our online booking platform. Availability and rates vary by date, room type, and length of stay.

  • What time is check-in?

Check-in begins at 4pm. Guests will receive check-in instructions via email prior to arrival.

  • What time is check-out?

Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure.

  • Is there a front desk?

The Presidio Hotel operates more like an Airbnb-style boutique hotel than a traditional full-service hotel. Guests should expect a streamlined, independent check-in experience rather than a staffed 24-hour front desk. Call the number up top or visit the Wine Castle for any questions.

Rooms & Amenities

  • How many rooms does the hotel have?

The Presidio Hotel has just 14 guest rooms, creating a more private and intimate experience than a traditional hotel.

  • Are all of the rooms the same?

No. Room layouts, features, furnishings, and views may vary. There are 6 rooms downstairs and 6 upstairs.  Then there are 2 suites (2 story.  The suites have king beds upstaris and sleeper sofas downstairs.  All other rooms have king beds.

  • Is housekeeping provided every day?

Rooms are professionally cleaned before each arrival, but not daily during your stay.

  • Are linens and towels provided?

Yes, we use the finest towels on the market. Fresh bed linens and bath towels are provided for your stay. Pool towels are provided at the bar area.

  • Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available for registered hotel guests. Access information will be provided with your room or arrival instructions.​

  • Do the rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, or coffee makers?

Yes all these are included.

  • Is the hotel located at a winery?

The Presidio Hotel is located at the Republic Wine Castle, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the distinctive atmosphere of the property during their stay.

  • Do I need a reservation for wine tasting?

It is not required, but we recommend making reservations for tastings, tours, dining, or special experiences whenever applicable, particularly during weekends and busy seasons. Do that here 

  • Can I purchase wine during my stay?

Yes we have the finest wines in Texas!

  • Can I bring wine back to my room?

Yes of course.  Enjoy your wine at the pool and all over the property!

  • Is parking available?

Yes we have plenty of parking.  Come into the first entrance to access the hotel (the other 2 entrances are for the Wine Castle)

  • Are children allowed?

The hotel is for adults.  Contact us for exceptions.

  • Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed.

Yes, depending on availability. Full-property or multi-room reservations may be possible for weddings, celebrations, corporate retreats, wine weekends, and other groups. Contact us directly at info@rbc1836.com to discuss availability and arrangements.

  • How can I make the most of my stay?

We recommend planning ahead for wine experiences, dining, transportation, and local activities, especially on weekends and during peak seasons. Our small 14-room setting makes the Presidio Hotel an ideal home base for a relaxed stay at the Republic Wine Castle.
